The location was amazing, nestled in a perfect spot within the city and conveniently near Cabourg and the ferry port.

Service was fine and the staff catered for my wifes special diet. The hotel was close to the D-Day landing beaches etc. We found that it was easier to take the bus to Caen ans leave the car at Sanaville, however the staff could not help us with this we worked it out on our own.

Pretty standard property, has excellent and amicable staff who was also the receptionist. Well furnished and spotless unit with bathtub. Stunning, good location just off the ferry, and Cabourg. The hotel of choice in Touffreville.

We had a wonderful stay at La Grande Bruyere. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely bathtub in the bathroom. The free parking lot in front of the hotel was a great convenience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast had a nice variety, although I would have liked more savory options. Despite being located in a quiet, countryside area, the hotel's restaurant, while not owned by the landlord, provided excellent food and a great dining experience. I would highly recommend this charming hotel.

We had a great time exploring the beautiful area around the hotel. The location was perfect for visiting Caen and Cabourg, and it provided a great base for exploring Normandy. Despite some drawbacks mentioned in the reviews, we found the rooms to be nicely furnished and decorated. We particularly loved our suite that opened straight onto the patio and pool. The continental breakfast was good, and the hosts, though not fluent in English, were very friendly and welcoming. we would recommend this hotel for its convenient location and comfortable rooms.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the attention to detail was impressive - the rooms had been modernised and were clean and comfortable. Secondly, the staff were very friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout my stay. Lastly, the buffet breakfast was plentiful and tasty, ensuring a great start to the day.

The hotel was located just 15 minutes away from the ferry port, which was great for our Easter weekend stay. The breakfast was good and it was nice to start the day with a meal before exploring the area. The room itself was modern and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom that had all the necessary amenities.

Our stay wasn't as enjoyable as we had hoped. The hotel was undergoing renovations and the construction work was quite loud, which made it difficult to relax.
